Anna Morley studied Philosophy at BA level in Nottingham, where she got embroiled in the local accomplished student-led theatre The New Theatre. Over the course of her three years there she was involved in over 15 plays, as a technician, performer, director, designer and producer.
Through the design experience gained, she was able to start an MA in Graphic Design Communication at Chelsea College of Art and Design, in which she is currently involved.

David Edward was raised in the east-end of London. He trained as a barrister but soon after qualifying he abandoned that career for more artistic pursuits. His artistic work began with writing and directing 16mm film shorts under LUX.
In 2008 his collection of short stories titled London Tales was published. The collection demonstrated his intent to produce fiction dealing with socially relevant themes. The book was selected by London University (Qmul) as a set text for the Contemporary Literature module of their English degree 2008/2009.
Spark it Up is his first play.
